Welcome!

I am the Proud Principal of Avon Middle School, a team based 7-8 school of just under 500 students and 75 staff members. AMS is a rigorous, comprehensive, student centered learning community and one that I am thrilled to welcome you to.

The AMS community is one that is built upon our Four Pillars: Compassion, Curiosity, Resilience and Responsibility. These pillars are the foundation of all that we do: academically, socially, emotionally, and in our partnership with the larger community.

Compassion guides our focus on developing a school community in which all students, staff and families feel safe and connected each and every day.

Curiosity guides our focus on developing a school community in which learners are inquisitive, immersed, and inspired to grow each day.

Resilience guides our focus on developing a school community that perseveres, collaborates, and works together.

Responsibility guides our focus on developing a school community in which all members of our community are cognizant of their impact on one another and ensures we have a safe and inclusive learning environment.
